The Captain's House Afternoon Tea

I&rsquo;d give a zero star if it was possible. From reading the negative reviews here, my experience was the same as many others who took the time to review this apparently charming location. Don&rsquo;t be fooled by the enticing outdoor seating area, the husband and wife owners are a very rude and unpleasant pair to deal with, humiliating customers in public and pointing to signs to validate their self created rules. There are no less than 16 signs around their garden seating area which you don&rsquo;t see until after you&rsquo;ve made your purchase at their takeaway counter. This pair are completely irrational and inflexible and have zero customer service skills. Avoid at all costs and I&rsquo;d suggest they seek an income in an industry that does not require human interaction. It&rsquo;s expensive and average at best with pre-packed sandwiches and stale pasties. Avoid at all costs
